Baku Olympic Stadium to host charity football match between Qarabag and Galatasaray today

Baku Olympic Stadium will today host a charity football match between Azerbaijan’s FC Qarabag and Turkish football powerhouse Galatasaray to help earthquake victims in Türkiye.
Azerbaijani FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev, to take charge of the match, will be assisted by his fellow countrymen Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali. Tural Gurbanov will be the fourth official, while Javid Jalilov and Muslum Aliyev will be the Video Assistant Referees (VAR) of the game.
All proceeds from the friendly match, to be held at 20:00, will be donated to those impacted by the Feb. 6 quakes that rocked 11 Turkish provinces and killed over 48,000 people.
