Ahad Janahmadov awarded with “GOLD STAR” medal

By the decision of the International Academy of Sciences of Turkic World Studies (TDAUIA), the well-renowned Azerbaijani scientist, academician Ahad Janahmadov has been awarded the "GOLD STAR" medal for special merits in development of education and science in the Turkic world.
Ahad Janahmadov was also elected a full member of TDAUIA.
Ahad Janahmadov is a well-known mechanic-philosopher, head of the Department of Transport Mechanics of the Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy. He is an active member of several international academies, an author of more than 30 monographs, 3 scientific discoveries and about 450 scientific articles and patents. His fundamental works have been translated into English, published in USA and Europe, and received international recognition. The scientist is a Laureate of International Prizes and was awarded many orders and medals of foreign countries.
