“Azerbaijan is also a victim of Islamophobia. Regretfully, Armenia continues to demonstrate a biased position against Azerbaijan as it did during its military aggression against Azerbaijani state. The conflict is not of religious nature. However, the Western media tries to portray it in religious colors, Chairman of the Baku-based Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) Farid Shafiyev has told AZERTAC.
“With regard to the territorial integrity and self-determination of the countries in accordance with international law, I should note that Europe has completely different approach to Azerbaijan, in comparison with the conflicts in Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova. This issue will be definitely addressed and analyzed at the conference,” Shafiyev said.
