Azerbaijan, Latvia discuss prospects for transport cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov has met with Director General at the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia Kaspars Rozkalns, who is on a visit to the country.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of transport. Discussions revolved around cargo transportation between the Baltic and Caspian Seas. The meeting highlighted the issues of finding suitable routes and transporting goods over these routes.
The pair also exchanged views on establishment of cooperation in the field of digitalization of transport, as well as ICT, cyber security, "smart cities".
