Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan eye cooperation in banking system

As part of his business trip to Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov has met with Governor of the National Bank of this country Galymzhan Pirmatov.
The meeting focused on the development of cooperation between the central banks of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
The discussions were mainly concerned with the current macroeconomic situation, impact of global economic processes in both countries’ economies, improvement of monetary systems, development of payment systems, establishment of digital currency and other issues.
