The Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted a meeting with Augusto da Silva Cunha, the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the country. The meeting discussed cooperation between ASOIU and higher education institutions of Angola.
Speaking about the international relations of ASOIU, Rector Mustafa Babanli, expressed interest of the university in collaboration with Angolan higher education institutions.
Ambassador Augusto da Silva Cunha spoke about the close relations between Azerbaijan and Angola and said that he would spare no effort to develop these relations. Stating that the alumni of AzII (now ASSOCI) are well known in the country, the ambassador spoke about the importance of collaboration between this educational institution and Angolan universities.
