President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has attended the official opening ceremony of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture (VEB2023 ECoC).
As part of the ceremony, Afandiyeva met with President of Hungary Katalin Novák, Hungarian Minister for Culture and Innovation János CSÁK and mayor of Veszprém Gyula Porga.
During the meetings, the sides discussed historical relations of friendship between Hungary and Turkic countries. Touching upon successful development of present relations, they also discussed the prospects of future cooperation.
