Bartaz village, Zangilan district

Bartaz village of Zangilan district is located on the left bank of Bartaz River, in the foothills of the Mehri mountain ridge.
The village was occupied by the Armenian armed forces in 1993. During the occupation, Armenian vandals destroyed the village and turned it into ruins.
The valiant Azerbaijani Army, which crushed the Armenian armed forces in the Patriotic War, liberated the village from occupation on October 22, 2020.
