Baku, December 28, AZERTAC As part of her official visit to Kazakhstan, President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has visited the International Turkic Academy to meet with the newly appointed President of the organization Shahin Mustafayev.During the meeting, the ties of friendship and brotherhood of the Turkic peoples, based on ancient history, and their mutual relations in the modern era were discussed. The importance of developing the comprehensive cooperation between the Turkic states was emphasized.The parties drew attention to the role and activities of the Turkic Cooperation Organizations in the direction of strengthening the integration processes in the Turkic World, and assessed the steps to be taken jointly in the direction of bolstering the partnership relations between the organizations they lead.The meeting continued with the exchange of views on the future prospects of expanding cooperation between the Foundation and the Academy.
