Aghdam, December 7, AZERTAC A delegation comprising of members of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) has today kicked off their visit to Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region.The visitors will also attend the international scientific conference titled “The role of UNESCO conventions concerning the protection of cultural properties and aspects of improving their implementation” to be held in Baku on December 8.The visitors familiarized themselves with traces of Armenian vandalism committed in Aghdam, as well as the restoration works carried out by Azerbaijani government following the liberation of the district.
