Azerbaijani Army suppresses activities of illegal Armenian armed formations

“On November 17, starting from 09:55 to 14:45, the Azerbaijan Army units observed that members of illegal Armenian armed formations in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed, are carrying out engineering measures to strengthen combat positions in the territories of Aghdam and Khojaly districts,” Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
“Such actions are a gross violation of the requirements of the trilateral statement signed on November 10, 2020, by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the President of the Russian Federation, and the prime minister of Armenia.
In order to suppress the illegal activities, the Azerbaijan Army units took necessary measures,” the ministry said.
