Udgun village of Zangilan district is located in the foothills.
The village was occupied by the Armenian armed forces in 1993. During the occupation, Armenian vandals destroyed the village and turned it into ruins.
The Udgun village was liberated on October 21, 2020 by the heroic Azerbaijani Army, which crushed the enemy in the Patriotic War.
