Azerbaijani and Pakistani space agencies sign MoU

The Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The memorandum envisages cooperation in various areas of space. This includes joint actions in space science, technology and applications, human capacity, and experience exchange.
Azercosmos Chairman of the Board Sameddin Asadov said the memorandum is important in terms of improving space services between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, further expanding the space programme, including the development of spatial information.
SUPARCO Chairman Amer Nadeem noted that the memorandum will create ample opportunities to work together for the prosperous future of the two countries.
