Azerbaijan`s Mammadyarov ranks 2nd at Aimchess Rapid

Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov has finished second at the 2022 Aimchess Rapid tournament after losing to Polish Jan-Krzysztof Duda in a hard-fought final match.
Duda got a superior position wining Final Match 1. Mammadyarov first managed to turn the tables in Final Match 2, scoring 1½ points to take the match to tiebreaks. Duda won back-to-back blitz games to secure overall victory.
