Baku, October 16, AZERTAC Phil Foden has penned a contract extension with Manchester City until 2027, the Premier League champions announced on Friday. “It’s hard to put into words how happy I am to have signed this contract. It’s a dream come true,” the 22-year-old English midfielder said.“I have been a City fan all my life. I’ve trained here for so many years and I’ve even been a ballboy. I love this club so much, so to know I am going to be a part of it until 2027 feels amazing.”A City academy graduate, the attacker has scored 52 goals in 182 games since breaking into the first team in 2017.He has already netted seven goals, including a hat-trick against rivals Manchester United, and set up three more in 13 games this season.“We are all so proud of Phil and what he has achieved already – but we know there is so much more to come.
