Baku, September 27, AZERTAC On the eve of the second anniversary of the Patriotic War, a tree-planting campaign dedicated to the Remembrance Day was held in the Mushfigabad settlement under the joint organization of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources on September 27 as a sign of respect for Azerbaijani martyrs, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.More than 1,000 Eldar pines and olive trees were planted at the event held with the participation of representatives of both ministries and Absheron District Executive Authority, employees of ANAMA, families of martyrs, and citizens, who lost their health in the war.The blessed memory of martyrs was commemorated in other regions by holding tree-planting events.
