Foreign media representatives view demining process in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil district
Baku, September 16, AZERTAC
A group of foreign journalists have today visited Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil district as part of their visit to the liberated Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Zangilan districts and the city of Shusha.
Leading specialist of the Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Madat Mammadov provided an insight into the mine-clearing activities carried out in the district.
The foreign journalists also had a chance to view the neutralization of the landmines planted by the enemy. They were also informed about the work carried out by ANAMA on the Fuzuli-Zangilan (Aghband) highway.
The foreign media representatives described Armenia’s refusal to hand over mine maps to Azerbaijan as another war crime committed by the official Yerevan.
During the exchange of views, it was noted that Armenia must put its manipulations regarding mine maps to rest, and the international community must take adequate measures against Armenian war crimes.
