Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia sign Baku Declaration on International North-South Transport Corridor

Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation have today signed the Baku Declaration.
The document was inked by Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak following the first trilateral meeting between Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia on the development of the International North-South Transport Corridor in Baku.
The declaration reaffirms the readiness of all the parties for cooperation in the spheres evaluation and analysis of infrastructure and transport capability to make maximum use of potential of the corridor, including the transportation of 30 million tons of transit and bilateral cargo between the three countries’ territories by 2030.
