Azerbaijan, Serbia discuss tourism cooperation

Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev has met with Serbian Ambassador to the country Dragan Vladisavljevic to discuss prospects for cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of tourism.
Touching upon the restoration of tourism industry in the country, Naghiyev hailed the significant influx of tourists observed since the beginning of 2022, including the flow of foreign citizens, which amounted up to 128 percent in January-July of this year.
Ambassador Vladisavljevic expressed his confidence that the tourism cooperation would contribute to further development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the measures to rehabilitate tourism industries of Azerbaijan and Serbia, as well as development of joint action plan in the field of tourism.
