7 dead, 8 injured in flash floods in SW China's Sichuan Province

Seven people were killed, and eight others were injured when flash floods hit Pengzhou City, southwest China's Sichuan Province on Saturday, according to CGTN.
The local emergency bureau said that sudden rising water triggered by heavy rainfall hit Longcaogou Valley at around 3:30 p.m. To date, one injured person has been hospitalized and is in stable condition.
