Azerbaijani chess players to face India and Israel on Round 7 of Chennai Olympiad

The Azerbaijan men’s and women’s chess teams will be in action on Day 7 of the 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad opens in Chennai, India.
The men’s team, which includes Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Gadir Huseynov, Vasif Durarbayli and Nijat Abasov will take on rivals from Israel, while the women’s team, comprising of Gunay Mammadzada, Khanim Balajayeva, Govhar Beydullayeva and Ulviyya Fataliyeva will face the team from India.
The Swiss system tournament, which will run till August 9, features 11 rounds.
