Flash flood kills 5, injures 9 in northern Tehran

Flash flood caused by heavy rains on Wednesday night killed five people and injured nine others in Imamzadeh Davood, northern Tehran, according to IRNA.
Shaheen Fathi, the CEO of Tehran Province Red Crescent Society, said that the heavy rains caused inundation and mud in several spots in western and southern parts of Tehran Province, especially in Imamzadeh Davoud in Kan District.
He said that a quick reaction team and a group of search and rescue dogs continue to search the area to find missing people.
About 80 first responding forces were present in the area to help the people, according to Fathi.
