House Museum of Vagif Mustafazade – a world-renowned Azerbaijani Jazz pianist and composer

The House Museum of Vagif Mustafazade - the founder of the Azerbaijani jazz mugham movement, a talented pianist and composer, was founded on 28 July, 1989.
It is located within the walls of the Icharishahar (Old City) - UNESCO World Heritage Site in Baku.
In 1994, the Museum became a branch of the State Museum of Azerbaijan Musical Culture.
During 1989-1997, the head of the Museum was Mustafazade's mother - Zivar Aliyeva.
The Museum consists of 3 rooms that houses photographs related to Mustafazade's life and creativity, various papers, personal belongings presented in the exposition.
The current Director of the Vagif Mustafazade House Museum is Afag Aliyeva, who is also the founder and director of the Mustafazade Charitable Foundation.
