Georgia reports 5,154 new cases of COVID-19 over past week

During July 3-10, Georgian authorities reported 5,154 new cases of COVID-19, as well as 2,338 recoveries, and 3 fatalities, according to Civil.ge.
Out of the 5,154 cases, 3,310 were reported in Tbilisi, followed by Adjara — 566, Imereti — 372, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti — 238, Kvemo Kartli — 199, Kakheti — 121, Shida Kartli — 113, Mtskheta-Mtianeti — 105, Guria — 95, Samtskhe-Javakheti — 18, and Racha Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti — 17.
According to the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, the positivity rate for the 7-day testing period was 8.10%.
As of July 10, Georgia (excluding the occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali/South Ossetia) had reported 1,667,453 cases of COVID-19 in total, among them 1,645,917 recoveries and 16,847 deaths.
