Baku, June 4, AZERTAC Cadets of the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev, who took 3rd place in the category “B” of the "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" contest at the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival held in Baku, were awarded at the National Defense University, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.Having met with the cadets and congratulated them, the Acting Rector of the National Defense University, Professor Lieutenant General Heydar Piriyev wished them success in their future military service, gave recommendations on continuing their achievements, and awarded all team members.The cadets of the Faculty of the Air Force of the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev of the National Defense University Davud Huseynaliyev, Nihad Ashrafov, Nijat Majidov and Ruslan Sultanov developed and presented at the festival's contest an unmanned aerial vehicle for logistics "Khilaskar" (Rescuer) capable of operating within a radius of 15 kilometers. As a result, they took 3rd place in the category "B" of the "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" contest and were awarded medals, certificates, cups, and money rewards.
