Japanese Ambassador visits Azerbaijan’s Tovuz district

Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada has visited the country’s Tovuz district, as he met with Head of the Executive Authority Mammad Mammadov.
During the meeting, Mammad Mammadov provided an insight into the socio-political and cultural life of Tovuz, as well as economic indicators of the district.
Describing the current state of Azerbaijani-Japanese relations as rapidly developing, Ambassador Wada noted that a series of events marking the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries will be held this year.
Ambassador Wada familiarized himself with the exhibits, depicting the history of Azerbaijan and Tovuz district as he visited Azerbaijan’s State Museum of Ashug Art, as well as the State Symbols Museum.
Junichi Wada also visited Tovuz Regional “ASAN xidmət” Center and “ABAD” fruit-drying factory, familiarizing himself with “ASAN xidmət” Center, as well as the products processed and released by “ABAD” factory.
The Ambassador also viewed conditions created at grape processing units, potatoes and vegetable storage logistics center and “Tovuz Aqro” LLC.
