“The skills of commanders in managing units and weapons in real combat conditions are checked and military personnel's practical skills are improved during the exercises, which are held in the training and educational centers of formations of the Combined Arms Army using computers and simulators equipped with special software,” the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
The skills acquired by the military personnel at the virtual training ground are evaluated according to the state of the tasks fulfilled in classes organized in the field conditions.
The UAV crews, communications units, and rocket artillery batteries carry out coordinated activities at the points of permanent deployment and training centers.
Special Forces Units that are capable of perfectly conducting counter-terrorism operations and practical combat in difficult mountainous conditions destroy terrorist groups of an imaginary enemy.
Engineering units accomplish the relevant tasks in the field conditions.
The rules of handling weapons and equipment, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills of servicemen of tank, mechanized and motorized rifle units involved in live-fire classes held in training centers and at the training ranges of the Combined Arms Army are checked.
During the exercises, applying the experience gained on the battlefield during the 44-day Patriotic War, the crews of armored vehicles through the use of various maneuvers overcame obstacles and fulfilled firing.
In the course of the exercises, where the shooting and practical skills of the personnel of motorized units are improved, shooting exercises using various caliber firearms, sniper rifles, as well as hand grenades are carried out.
The exercises, during which the military personnel demonstrate a high level of field skills applying various weapons continue.
