Azerbaijan Artificial Intelligence Lab (AI Lab) of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport announces the launch of a free training and internship programme in artificial intelligence.
The programme will provide extensive training in the areas of Data Science, NLP and Computer Vision, which form the basis of Artificial Intelligence. During the training, students will learn the Python programming language, selected topics in statistics, and theoretical and practical areas of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. In addition, participants will become familiar with TensorFlow, Keras and PyTorch – one of the main tools of Deep Learning.
For the first time, students will work on real projects implemented by AI Lab as part of the programme. Those who excel at the end of the training program will be provided with job opportunity.

Participation in the training is for free. The deadline for applications is 15 April 2022. The training will begin on May 5 and last six months.
The selection criteria for participation in the training are:

1. students and graduates studying at Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields;
2. basic or intermediate knowledge in any programming language (preferable Python);
3. general understanding of algorithms and data structures;
4. Math skills (especially Calculus and Linear Algebra).

The selection process will also be based on the criteria of teamwork, research skills and intermediate English language proficiency.
Azerbaijan Artificial Intelligence Lab launched its first training programme in January 2022. Currently, 10 students are studying at the lab.
