Baku, April 4, AZERTAC In preparation for the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival, which will be held for the first time in Baku on 26 – 28 May this year, jointly organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, the registration process for the international startup summit Take Off Baku has been completed.A total of 287 startups from the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia presented their innovative projects to participate in the international event to be held in Baku.It should be noted that 287 startups from 32 countries have been registered for the international event, 101 of which are representatives of Azerbaijan.In terms of startup lines of business, 43 startups offer solutions in education, 26 in financial technology, 30 in healthcare, 20 in smart city, 20 in transport and logistics, 11 in infrastructure and security, 14 in entertainment, 28 in social sphere, 6 in Media&Ads and 89 in various other categories.Of the submitted projects, 14 are at the idea stage, 76 – prototypes, 126 – MVPs (a customer-acquired product that can be improved based on customer feedback), and 71 are in the process of attracting investment.Under the terms of the competition, startups with MVPs will have the opportunity to participate in the next stage. The number of participants is limited to 50 teams, of which 35 are local startups.Startups that successfully pass the initial classification will be provided with one month of professional mentoring support before the official opening of the event. During the summit, a jury of local and international partners will select the winners of the semifinals and finals from among 50 startups.The summit will provide opportunities for startups to make presentations, hold B2B meetings and participate in panel discussions.The awards ceremony for startups offering new innovative projects and solutions will take place on May 28.
