Belgium hosts memorial concert dedicated to the Khojaly genocide

One of the most prestigious cultural centers in Brussels, Flaje Concert Hall, hosted a memorial concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide. The event organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium.
Representatives of embassies in Brussels, EU officials, public and political figures, representatives of science, art, media and research centers, members of Azerbaijani communities from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg attended the concert.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belgium Vagif Sadigov gave detailed information about the Khojaly genocide, describing it as the most terrible black page in the history of the Azerbaijani people. The ambassador also highlighted the Victory gained in the 44-day Patriotic War and a large-scale restoration work carried out there.
Then young compatriots living in different European countries Narmin Najafli (piano), Agharahim Guliyev (flute) and Aziza Salahova (violin) performed works by Azerbaijani and foreign composers at the concert.
