Ukraine records 5,583 new COVID-19 cases per day, 13,981 people recovered, Health Minister says

As of Thursday morning, some 5,583 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease were recorded in Ukraine, some 13,981 people recovered, some 241 patients died, Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said, according to Interfax-Ukraine News Agency.
“Some 5,583 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease were recorded in Ukraine as of January 21, 2021. In particular, 173 children and 229 medical workers fell ill. Some 1,811 people were hospitalized, some 241 people died and some 13,981 people recovered,” Stepanov wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday morning.
