Ministry of Emergency Situations: Armenia commits another ecological terror against Azerbaijan
Baku, October 29, AZERTAC
“Armenian armed forces continue shelling Azerbaijani dense residential territories, civilian facilities, including private and apartment buildings, and households using heavy artillery installations and rockets, as well as committing ecological terror in a gross violation of the humanitarian ceasefire,” Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Emergency Situations told AZERTAC.
“Thus, the territory of Goygol district that is far away from the combat zone came under the heavy artillery strikes of the Armenian armed forces. As the result, fire has broken out in the forest area. The relevant forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been involved in the area for firefighting. Currently urgent measures are underway for preventing fire from spreading to wider area and for its extinguishing. Additional information will be provided,” the ministry said.
Note that the Ministry of Emergency Situations operates in an enhanced mode at the moment. Please, immediately call the “112” hotline of the Ministry in case of any emergency.
