Baku, March 31, AZERTAC  First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has made an Instagram post in connection with 31 March, the Day of Genocide of the Azerbaijanis. In a post on her official Instagram page, the First Vice-President says: “It is the 31st of March today, the Day of Genocide of the Azerbaijanis. Despite all the tragedies, difficulties and injustices the Azerbaijani people have encountered throughout its history, and while remembering the shock of deportation, ethnic cleansing and massacres, we have not lost our desire for independence, have demonstrated a strong will, unshakable solidarity and cohesion and achieved even greater power for our state. I revere the blessed memory of genocide victims. May Allah rest the souls of all our martyrs.”
