President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order regarding measures to renovate road and transport infrastructure in the district of Gabala.
Under the presidential Order, the Azerbaijan Highway State Agency is allocated 8.9 million manats for the construction of a new bridge over Bum River and a road to Bum settlement.
Azerbaijan ranks the 27th in the world for the quality of highways. For the last 16 years, a total of 16.7 thousand kms of highways have been built in the country, including 1300 kms last year.
