Baku, September 5, AZERTAC
“Friendly ties between Azerbaijani and Israeli people will last for centuries,” If we look at tolerance and multiculturalism reigning in Azerbaijan, we can see live demonstration of Azerbaijani realities at today’s meeting,” said Head of the Religious Community of Mountain Jews Melih Yevdayev at the presentation of a collection of poems by Jewish poetess Rachel Bluwstein into Azerbaijani.
“High-level relations were established with the state of Israel in economic and political areas after Azerbaijan regained its independence. Domestic and foreign policy carried out by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev totally coincides with the position of national minorities living in the country. Therefore, this policy serves both Azerbaijani people and all nations living here, as well as ensures protecting their rights and interests and improve the life style in Azerbaijan,” Melih Yevdayev added.
