Baku, July 21, AZERTAC Three Azerbaijani wrestlers have progressed to the final of the Summer European Youth Olympic Festival as wrestling competitions continue at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace. Freestyle wrestler Murad Haqverdiyev’s (45 kg) success was followed by Abulfaz Nasirov (55 kg) who defeated Harvey Ridings from Great Britain, while Greco-Roman wrestlers Farid Sadikhli and Nihat Mammadli defeated Andrea Martino from Italy and Olivier Skripchak from Poland, respectively. Wrestlers compete in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling in 45 and 55 kg categories today. Wrestling competitions will end in 3 days.
