Japan`s Prime Minister hosts iftar party

Japan`s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has hosted a traditional iftar party attended by heads of the diplomatic corps of 42 Islamic countries accredited in Japan, including Azerbaijan's Charge d'Affair Farid Talibov.
Addressing the event, PM Abe highlighted Japan’s relations with Muslim countries which had ancient history. He hailed the high level of cooperation between Japan and Muslim countries, saying they hope that these relations will continue expanding. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining close cooperation between Japan and Muslim countries in terms of the establishment of interreligious dialogue, cultural exchanges and peace and tranquility.
