Tbilisi, March 11, AZERTACAzerbaijan invested $240 million in Georgia in 2018, remaining the top investor in the country, Georgia`s National Statistics Service said. Azerbaijan`s share in Georgia`s economy made up 19.5 percent. The United kingdom and the Netherlands rank second and third with $203.7 million and $167.9 million respectively.A total amount of foreign investments in Georgia made up $1,232,400,000 last year, of which $279.9 million was invested in the financial, $209.9 million in transport and $157.2 million in energy sectors.
