The UniRank rating agency located in Australia has announced the ratings of the world universities. As a result of the analysis of 13600 higher education institutions registered officially in more than 200 countries conducted by UniRank rating agency, Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) took the 610th place among the world universities and is the leader among the Azerbaijani universities in 2019.
In the regional ranking “The best 200 universities in Asia” drawn up by the UniRank rating agency, UNEC was chosen the 122nd best university in Asia. UNEC is ahead of Kobe University of Japan, Shanghai Finance and Economics University of China, Bosphorus University, and Ankara University of Turkey and some other well-known universities in the region.
UniRank , published twice in a year since May 2005, is an international higher education institution directory and the search system that incorporates the worldwide popularity of accredited higher education institutions. The ranking covers 13600 universities and colleges around the world.
Ranking is conducted on algorithms based on 5 independent web metrics received from 4 web resources. The UniRank’s measuring components are drawn up on the basis of indicators of Moz Domain Authority, Alexa Global Rank, SimilarWeb Global Rank, Majestic Referring Domains and Majestic Trust Flow.
