Azerbaijan, Indonesia discuss bilateral relations

Azerbaijan and Indonesia have discussed the bilateral ties as Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Ramiz Hasanov met with a delegation led by Director General of the Policy Analysis and Development Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Siswo Pramono.
Ramiz Hasanov praised the current state of political relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia. The Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister hailed SOCAR`s activity in Indonesia and stressed the importance of further development of economic cooperation. He also noted the importance of expanding the legal framework.
Siswo Pramono lauded political relations between the two countries and pointed out that there are wide opportunities for developing bilateral relations in all areas. He said that Indonesia always supports Azerbaijan`s sovereignty and territorial integrity within the internationally recognized borders and stressed the significance of the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict on this basis.
The sides also discussed the development of ties between the two countries in the fields of culture, education, trade, economy and tourism.
Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also hosted the Azerbaijan-Indonesia political dialogue. The foreign policy priorities, bilateral cooperation, including the development of relations in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres were discussed during the dialogue.
