AZERTAC`s photo correspondent Ilgar Jafarov has won three gold medals and three Honorable Mentions of Photographic Society of America at Digitalna Foto Arhiva Circuit 2018 international photo competition in Croatia, Montenegro, Ireland and Serbia.
The international photo contest, held under auspices of the Photographic Society of America (PSA), featured different photos by 240 authors from 47 countries.
Jafarov’s “Life in Geometry”, "Emotions of a female weightlifter", “Gymnastic element” earned him two gold medals of the Photographic Society of America, one gold medal of Digitalna Foto Arhiva and three PSA Honorable Mentions in the nominations of the "City Life", "Sport" and "Photojournalism".
According to the recently issued annual PSA’s “Who's Who in Photography 2017" publication AZERTAC’s photo correspondent Ilgar Jafarov was enlisted among the world's best photographers in the category of "Photojournalism" for the second time (for the first time in 2015).
Over hundred photographs from Jafarov’s portfolio have been demonstrated in various parts of the world under FIAP’s patronage. He has won over 50 international awards. Last year Jafarov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the International Federation of Photo Art (Excellence FIAP).
