Head of Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) delegation, chair of the party`s External Relations Committee Sounthone Xayachack has expressed her country`s keen interest in maintaining cooperation with Azerbaijan in all sectors as she met with vice-speaker of Azerbaijan Milli Majlis Bahar Muradova.
Sounthone Xayachack hailed an initiative by Laotian students who graduated from Azerbaijani universities to set up a Laos-Azerbaijan friendship society which will contribute to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Bahar Muradova said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to expanding cooperation with European and Asian countries.
The vice-speaker hailed the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and Lao People's Revolutionary Party today. She emphasized the importance of establishing friendship groups in the parliaments of both countries in terms of expanding Azerbaijan-Laos relations.
