It was the season of warm wind, April - the perfect time to visit and tour Indonesia. Flying from Baku to Jakarta city totaled 10 hours of travel time. Visiting within a week to Indonesia will surely leave any traveler with a different taste every time you hop from one place to another.
A tour exploring Jakarta, Bandung, Bali which organized by Indonesian Embassy to Baku aimed to spread Indonesia`s must-see places, culture, its traditions abroad.
Our trip started with Jakarta, which boosts and develops international cargo hub and the people do their utmost to improve its modern infrastructure.
Jakarta is one of the safest big cities. It is nice to take a long nighttime stroll to see the city lights and get a feel of the congested city which is home to around 20 million people. The city is situated on the northwest coast of the world's most populous island Java, it is the centre of economics, culture and politics of Indonesia.
Local people are very friendly and will not hesitate to go the extra mile to offer help and try to give traveler directions even if by using hand gestures.
While it offers luxurious hotels with pampering massages and spa experiences, it also caters to a mid-budget traveler who is curious to know more about this country.
This metropolitan city prides itself with combining a hub for technology and business on one hand and being a cultural and historical destination on the other.
Jakarta is also known with its tea, coffee and best known noodles. The Indonesian food successfully obtains the love of all the foodies who have taken the first bite.
From wonderful night clubs to fabulous beaches, glittering sands and world-famous sunsets. Temples of friendly monkeys, relaxed hippies. Yes it is Bali.
Bali is just one of 17000 Islands which make up the Indonesian archipelago. At the same time the traveller could feel see the village lifestyle, dark sands of the east, the untouched west and everything in between. The tropical island is filled with an endless collection of seascapes, landscapes and iconic landmarks that will stun even the most articulate poet.
Nusa Dua is where many of the island's most exclusive resorts are. Nestled on a ¬white sand beach, it has stunning panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.
Bali restaurants are keen to expand their distributors around the world. A lot of people come from different parts of the world to taste these marvelous dishes.
Balinese architecture, traditionally designed gateways and ancient sculptures add to Uluwatu Temple's appeal, creating everlasting memories of a fantastic trip to the Island of Beauty.
The culture in Bali is beautiful, the blessings, the ceremonies, the way life stops to focus on living as a-pose to working. That is the Bali who leaves the island will continue to return for.
As any tourist leave Bali, did not manage to finish shopping, Bali International Airport is one big shopping mall and best option once pass the security checkpoint. Traveler will find a variety of stores including traditional Indonesian gift shops, ginseng stores, and luxury brands stores. Any tourist will also be entertained by a recurring traditional parade showcasing cultural Indonesian outfits and music - the right atmosphere to say goodbye to the Indonesian adventure.
