Azerbaijan wraps up its chairmanship of WTO Executive Council

The Chairmanship of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization (WTO EC) has passed from Azerbaijan to Argentina at a solemn ceremony attended by representatives of its member states.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain Anar Maharramov pointed out that development of tourism sector is one of the key priorities of Azerbaijan’s state policy. He said Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the WTO Executive Council in 2017 has been very successful.
Ambassador Maharramov presented a special plaque symbolizing this remarkable event to Argentine Minister of Tourism Gustavo Santosa, expressing his confidence that during its chairmanship Argentina will also make its contributions to the development of tourism.
