Baku hosts “Azerbaijan: a model of tolerance” conference

Baku is hosting “Azerbaijan: a model of tolerance” conference, which is organized by the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations on the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance.
Addressing the conference, deputy chairman of the committee Sayyad Salahli highlighted tolerance traditions in the Azerbaijani society as well as the government`s measures to preserve these values.
Other speakers described Azerbaijan as a model of tolerance, and applauded the government`s efforts to preserve religious diversity and raise the world community`s awareness about the country`s multiculturalism.
