Azerbaijan, Latvia sign protocol of Intergovernmental Commission

Azerbaijan and Latvia have signed a protocol of the seventh meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economy, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation.
The document was signed by co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission – Azerbaijan`s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn Baghirov and Latvian Minister for Transport Uldis Augulis.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijan`s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn Baghirov highlighted close relations between the two countries.
“There is a great potential to develop cooperation and realize joint projects,” Latvian Minister for Transport Uldis Augulis said. The sides also discussed cooperation in the fields of science, education, culture, tourism, health, transport and communication.
