Lithuanian artist to open her exhibition in Baku
Baku, May 9, AZERTAC
World-famous Lithuanian artist Edita Suchockytė will open her “Muses” exhibition in Baku on May 25.
A graduate of the Academy of Arts, Vilnius, Suchockytė is known as a master of traditional etchings. But her way to the world of graphics began much earlier, in 1993, when she entered the Academy. Edita says her first teacher in painting was her father - a famous artist, cartoonist and animator Vitalijus Suchockis.
As a very versatile artist, Suchockytė successfully creates works, characterized by distinctive elegant lines, interesting geometry and original location of the compositional elements.
