A meeting with Vladimir Mikhailov, director of the Scientific-Research Institute of Geology of the Kiev National University after T. Shevchenko took place at the Seismological Survey Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences(ANAS).
Gurban Yetirmishli, academician, Director General of the Republican Seismological Survey Center, highlighted the activities of the Center he supervises.
The sides had comprehensive discussions concerning joint scientific researches and exchanged views on further cooperation.
Also at the focus were the questions related to quake-data processing and application of new programs in this sphere, presented by R. Karimova, deputy chief of the Center’s quake research bureau.
The sides expressed interest in further cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the years to come.
