Baku, October 20, AZERTAC  The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences has conferred Vernadsky medal upon its foreign full member, vice-president of Azerbaijan Engineering Academy Ahad Janahmadov. The medal recognizes his outstanding contribution to developing science and public movement. A full member of several academies, Janahmadov chairs Department of Transportation Mechanics at Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy. He is also editor-in-chief of the UK-based Science and Applied Engineering Quarterly journal.
