Azerbaijan’s KOBIA attends panel session at AIM Congress in Abu Dhabi

Representatives of Azerbaijan’s Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) visited Abu Dhabi to participate in the traditional Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Congress) held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, as well as exchange ideas on the prospects for cooperation aimed at the development of SMEs.
The representatives of the Agency attended the opening ceremony of AIM Congress and the panel session themed "SMEs and foreign investments: challenges and opportunities" organized on the sidelines of the event.
Addressing the panel session, Chairman of the Board of the Agency, Orkhan Mammadov, shared his views on Azerbaijan's experience on the direct foreign investment potential of SMEs.
KOBIA representatives also visited the exhibition held as part of the AIM Congress, as well as “Invest in Azerbaijan” stand, which provided information about the business and investment climate in Azerbaijan, as well as the support and services provided by organizations, including KOBIA, to entrepreneurs in the country.
